Wake the Voice Policies

Payment Terms:

Payment is to be made in full 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment date.

Cancellation Policy:

Clients are required to provide notice of cancellation at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. This notice must be submitted via voicemail, text message, or email. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the client being held liable for the full amount of the appointment fees.

REGARDING VOCAL HEALTH:

The vocal exercises designed specifically for you are deemed safe for the voice when done correctly as instructed or under supervision. Taking an exercise out of context may not render the same benefits you seek for your overall vocal development and well-being. It is my mission to promote vocal health; however, I make no claims nor guarantees, particularly if you fail to follow instructions or a regular practice regimen. You are solely responsible for the health of your voice. If you indulge in activities that could compromise the health of your instrument (smoking, vaping, excessive use of alcohol), you will be putting your instrument at risk at your sole discretion and responsibility.

If you have previously or are currently experiencing voice problems, you should first:

1) Seek the advice of a doctor such as a Laryngologist (an Ear-Nose-Throat doctor who specializes in the voice) prior to participating in this - or any - program of vocal study if you have any concerns about your vocal health

2) Notify Wake the Voice Coaching if you have ever been diagnosed with a voice disorder or if you suspect that you might have one now. (Your confidentiality will be protected.)

3) Invest the time required to learn how to perform each exercise correctly and at "most comfortable vocal effort" under the supervision of Liat Arochas owner of Wake the Voice.
